  3. i have been a HUGE fan of twilight since the beginning and the movie really impressed me. I knew it wasn't going to be as good as the book because its just not possible, but i was suprised how great it was. All the actors did a good job and the story had the right feel. There were a lot of things from the book that weren't explained so i would definetly read the book first before i go see it.

  4. I loved twilight. I fell in love with the series last year, and my friends and I spent everyday at lunch, talking about how great it was, and how handsome Edward Cullen is. The actors were chosen very well for the movie, (I really liked Rob Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, and Taylor Lautner :D!). The movie was awesome, but definitely still not as amazing as the books.

  5. I got hooked on the series after seeing the movie and deciding to reread Twilight... I think its not the actual writing so much as the characters and world they live in that make the books so amazing :) I wasn't crazy about Kristen Stewart playing Bella, but figured out that I should look at the book and the movie as two seperate things in order not to be upset about missing details in the film.

  6. I believe that the book was definatly better than the movie in many ways. The movie had the right charecters for every other charecter besides edward and bella. In the books you feel like you actually know bella and you can 'see' her personality, in the movie you see kristen stewart but you dont see emotion or bella. You just see the actress try to be someone without really going into depth into the charecter. The only thing about edward that was right was the hair, besides that there was nothing right, the actor was way too dramatic and overexaggerated alot of things. He looks like he knows who he is playing but is trying too hard to be Edward that it just looks akward and funny. If you are going to see the movie read the book fist, that way you get a lot of laughs by seeing how bella and edward dont match.

  7. Back then, I used to like Twilight, because it knows exactly what buttons to push. Hot guy? Check. Vampire? Check. Bad boy? Check. Unpopular girl protagonist? Check. And I'd-die-for-you devotion? Check. Twilight was cute and fluffy, but empty.

When New Moon came around, it sucked. About 80% of the time, Bella was whining and/or attempting suicide, and the Volturi actually saved the book.

Eclipse was so bad, I immediately forgot what it was about because of the persistent melodrama and overuse of adjectives (seraphic, dazzling, marble-chested, abalaster).

Now, Breaking Dawn was a true monster. First, the baby, that wasn't supposed to happen.

    I'll continue my rant later.

  8. Agreed with Amanda (above) ^^ Reneesme was a total disaster. Although I agree that it would be quite difficult to end the series in one book with so many loose strings hanging off of Eclipse, I just think that it was unsatisfying.
The movie was ok- it felt wayyy too short for a book where the details were the charm. It lacked some sweet essentials that I felt made Twilight the book such a hit, and the meadow scene was just no good. *continues rant outside of this comment box*
