     Lucy Ann Lobdell is a great woman - she's emotional and psychology strong, she believes in herself, she is determined to do what is best for her, she cares for others, she stays true to herself, and she did what few women did before her. In order to gain her own identity, she had to hide herself and her former life.

     William Klaber brings Lucy Ann to life and creates a legacy for her that hopefully will remain for generations to come. What an emotional physical journey for Lucy Ann. She had to fight against others to be herself, and by accepting herself for who she is, she comes to find freedom, though never from the memories or demons that haunt her. In the end, it seems as though she lost herself to mental illness.
